We were honoured to participate in the Malaysian Annual Glaucoma Symposium 2025, joining a vibrant and dedicated community of eye care professionals, clinicians, and researchers united by a shared mission to advance glaucoma diagnosis and care through practice improvement, experience sharing, innovation, and collaboration.

The symposium provided a valuable platform for meaningful exchange, bringing together diverse perspectives from across the eye care ecosystem. The depth of clinical insight, openness to innovation, and collective commitment to improving patient outcomes were truly inspiring.

Showcasing Eyeonic: Reimagining Visual Field Testing

A key highlight of our participation was the showcase of the Eyeonic Online Visual Field Test, which is a cloud-based, AI-powered solution designed to make visual field testing more accurate, accessible, and cost-effective.

Eyeonic represents a shift away from traditional, equipment-bound testing toward a more flexible model that can be deployed in:

• Clinics with limited access to conventional devices
• Community screening programmes
• Remote and decentralised care settings
• Even patients’ homes, where appropriate

Through our presence at the symposium, we sought to engage clinicians across diverse practice environments and gather real-world feedback to further refine and strengthen the solution for use in varied clinical contexts throughout Malaysia.
